A partnership between Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust 0-19 Service and Barnardo’s to deliver the Healthy Child Programme across Hampshire. Whether you're a new parent/carer, a parent of older children or a young person, we are here for you. From free workshops, courses and social walking groups to awareness, health advice and mental health support. A partnership between Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Barnardo's.

Hampshire Healthy Heroes works with early years settings supporting healthy starts for young children and increasing emotional, physical and dental health outcomes.

Children are educated in a fun and interactive way, so that they understand the importance of looking after themselves and have the knowledge to implement healthy habits with the support of their parents, carers and Early Years providers.

Being a parent or carer will not come easily to everyone. It is common to feel overwhelmed, feel a dip in confidence, and struggle with new responsibilities. You may also have challenging feelings about yourself, your partner or even your child.

There are things that can sometimes make this feel harder such as your own emotional wellbeing or feeling isolated. If you are struggling with your relationship with your baby, whether that is during your pregnancy or after, if you are not feeling confident in getting to know your baby, please reach out to your local health visiting team.
