The helicopter is in and we're responding to people across the south from the new hangar, but we're not finished just yet! The walls are painted, the carpet is laid, and we're now starting to move the furniture in. Thanks to our friends at LGI Designs for bringing the space to life. We’re home 💚💛🚁

This is a huge milestone for our charity — and none of it would have been possible without you, our incredible supporters. “Thank you” hardly feels enough for the gratitude we have for every donation, message, and moment of support along the way.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be testing our aviation and dispatch operations as we fully settle into our new home.

Even in these early days, we’re already seeing the difference this new location will make — helping us respond faster and serve our community even better.

Meet our new Medical Director, Dr Chris Hill!

"The generous spirit of our local population is the only reason we’re able to do what we do. And I take their support very seriously and I'm very passionate that we use that support to make a significant difference." – Dr Chris Hill.

Since 2014, Dr Chris has flown and treated patients on board our aircraft and emergency response vehicles, helping deliver life-saving care across the region. We’re thrilled to announce that he has now stepped into a new role as Medical Director.

We respond to an average of seven emergencies every day. We may be called to a sudden cardiac arrest, a fall from height, or a major road traffic collision. 🚁

We’re there for you, ready to bring skills and equipment of a hospital emergency department to your side, wherever you need us. 💚💛

After more than 19 years of serving Hampshire and the Isle of Wight from our airbase in Thruxton, Andover, we've now made our final flight. 💚🚁

We've been proud to call Thruxton our home. Starting in a small portacabin back in 2007, we’ve grown into a leading pre-hospital emergency medicine service.

Our new airbase near Southampton Airport is now nearing completion, bringing us closer to our dream of centralising our airbase and enhancing how we deliver critical care across the region.

Challenging Events’ Hampshire Hilly Hundred took place last Sunday, and we had an incredible team take on the 102-mile cycling challenge to raise funds for your local Air Ambulance. 🚴🎉

Earlier this month, six supporters from the Driver Awareness Team at Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower to support your local Air Ambulance. They smashed it, completing the 328-foot descent and raising an incredible £2,700!
