Bookabout is our monthly book group hosted on the last Thursday of every month from 2-3pm. Our next group will be held on 25 June.

Come along and discuss the novels that you have been reading over the last month with other book lovers. Get recommendations on books you may not have thought about trying and share with others the stories you have been loving.

As part of the National Year of Reading, each month we will share a new Book Challenge for you to participate in. 📸📚

For June, we challenge you to read a graphic novel. Graphic novels are a fast and fun way to consume literature and art in one hit. The beauty of these works are the worlds they choose to create within.

Refugee Week - 15-21 June - is the largest arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. The theme for this year's Refugee Week is 'Courage'.

15-21 June is Loneliness Awareness Week. This is a campaign which is designed to raise awareness around the issue of loneliness and to create supportive and engaging communities.

At Totton Library, we host a variety of weekly and monthly groups, designed to build community and tackle loneliness. This includes our fun Chatabout group. Every Tuesday, 10.30am-midday, run by a friendly volunteer and with free refreshments, come talk with local people, socialise and make friends.

Join us on Saturday 20 June from 10:30am-12pm for Hong Kong Connections, our monthly group dedicated to those from Hong Kong who are looking for community connections.
