Follow the adventures of the 'wee guys' in the world's smallest Coastguard Rescue Team.

Please listen to the 'wee guys' and avoid visiting exposed coastal areas during times of severe weather.

Dangerous conditions are expected around large parts of the country today as arrives from west so please stay safe and don't take any risks.

Coastguard Rescue Teams, RNLI Lifeboats and other search and rescue resources will be on call throughout to respond to those in need.

It's been a while but we just wanted to drop in and say hello!

We are still very much here although life has been exceptionally busy especially when you're only 4cm tall! We are working hard behind the scenes to bring you new content this year so watch this space!

There's a big adventure coming for a very small person as 'Wee Rachel' gets ready to head off to Morocco on a fundraising challenge to raise money for The Coastguard Association.

Wee Rachel will be joining Coastguard Rescue Officer Rachel Nicholls-Lee from Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team on the Marathon des Sables - a 250km race over six days across the Sahara Desert!

Described as the toughest footrace on earth, Wee Rachel will need to endure the roasting hot temperatures, endless sand dunes and white-hot salt plains of the Sahara Desert.

The Coastguard Association is the charity dedicated to supporting Coastguard personnel and their families in their time of need. You can donate to help Rachel's fundraising efforts at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/from-sea-to-sand

Have a great Easter Weekend and please take care if you're heading for the coast.

Remember if you find something washed up on the beach which could be a maritime distress flare or ordnance, don't move or touch it, keep well back and always dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
