📣 Don't miss your chance to have your say on the future shape of Eastleigh Borough.

A local plan scoping consultation has been launched, and you're invited to share your views on the priorities, issues, vision and scope the local plan should address.

📍Join a drop-in session at The Point, Eastleigh, on Monday 14 September, between 3pm and 7pm to speak to members of the Planning team.

The consultation runs until 24th September 2026.

😀 If your Hedge End group needs a helping hand then you might be eligible for a Community Grant 💰

Eastleigh Borough Council Community grants are open for Hedge End, West End and Botley until 16th October.

Priority goes to projects that boost health, shape great places, protect the environment or build strong communities.

Eligible applicants are not-for-profit groups with a constitution, bank account (with two signatories), insurance and safeguarding checks if they work with vulnerable people. Terms and Conditions apply.

🚍🌞 FREE BUS TRAVEL FOR CHILDREN THIS AUGUST 🌞🚍

Children under 16 can now travel free on buses until 31st August, as part of the Great British Summer Savings scheme.

All bus operators in Hampshire including Stagecoach, Go South Coast and FirstBus are participating in the scheme. Check individual operators for age restrictions on travelling without an adult.

Unfortunately, the Paddling Pool will remain closed over the weekend.

We realise how disappointing this is and are doing everything we can to get the pool repaired and reopened as soon as possible.

🚨 Officers from Hedge End Police are holding two Beat Surgeries in August where residents can raise any concerns or receive crime prevention advice.

These are taking place at Hedge End Library and the Sainsburys/M&S foyer at the retail park.

🚲 There will also be an opportunity to have your bike marked for FREE and registered at the Hedge End Library event.

‼️ PADDLING POOL CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE ‼️

The Paddling Pool is CLOSED until further notice as the surface has developed a large hole. We are trying to get it repaired as soon as possible.
