Help Shape the Future of Our Repairs Service 🏠🔧
Last few places available

Have you had a repair recently? Was the experience great, frustrating, or somewhere in between? We'd like to hear from you.

We're inviting up to 25 residents to an interactive Repair Journey Workshop on 10 September, 2pm–4pm at the Civic Centre. We'll use a simple Grand National idea: imagine 100 repairs starting a race. Where do repairs get stuck or 'fall at the fences', why does it happen, and what could we change so that more reach the finish line – a repair completed to the resident's satisfaction?

This isn't just a consultation. We want you to help us design a better repairs journey. Your experiences and ideas will help shape how we communicate, coordinate and deliver repairs in the future.

📅 10 September, 2pm–4pm
📍 Civic Centre, Ground Floor, Committee Room 1
👥 Up to 25 places – first come, first served

If you would like to take part, please contact [email protected]
Or call 023 80 833185 to ensure a space is booked for you to be able to attend the workshop

Community Safety Survey 2026

Whether you live, work or just visit Southampton, we’d like to hear your views on a number of community safety topics. Let us know how safe you feel when you’re out and about.

Your anonymous feedback will help our Southampton Community Safety Partnership to improve lives and foster stronger communities by reducing crime, anti-social behaviour, alcohol and drug use.

The closing date for feedback is Sunday 13 September.

How to take part

Online: Visit the Southampton City Council website: soton.cc/CSS2026

Offline: If you don't have access to the internet, please visit any Southampton library and a member of staff will show you how to access the webpage. Just ask for the Community Safety Survey. Find your local library here: southampton.gov.uk/libraries/

Alternatively, you can request a paper copy of the survey to be printed out at our libraries too.

📢 Our Tenant & Leaseholder Engagement Strategy and Tenant & Leaseholder Charter have officially launched!

On 12 August, tenants, leaseholders, councillors and housing colleagues came together to celebrate the launch and sign the Charter pledge, demonstrating a shared commitment to improving housing services together.

Developed with tenants, the Strategy and Charter set out how we will strengthen tenant voice, improve communication, increase accountability and ensure residents have a meaningful influence on decisions that affect their homes and communities.

This is an important milestone, but it is only the beginning of our journey to put tenant voices at the heart of Housing Services.

💙 Your Voice. Your Influence. Our Commitment.

Please contact Tenant Engagement for paper copies of the document: 023 8083 3185; email: [email protected]
