Friends of Kent Elms Library - Show your support and ensure Kent Elms Library remains open to the community and staffed by trained and knowledgeable council employees If the council's recent library review is approved at the end of the year either Kent Elms Library or Leigh Library will be replaced by a purely volunteer-run service. If Kent Elms is not chosen to be the ‘Hub Library’ for the west o

f Southend then inevitably this will result in a severely compromised service and shorter opening times, and the strong possibility of no library at all in Eastwood in a few years time.
