This week also saw us welcome a new cohort into Sixth Form, where they will take their place as leaders and role models for our younger pupils.

Together with Year 13, they began the year with a team-building day at Rock and River. From paddleboarding and kayaking to high ropes and an airbag jump, they encouraged one another, worked as a team and stepped outside their comfort zones, demonstrating the very values they will help carry through our school community this year.

This week marked the start of our brand-new school year. We were delighted to welcome our pupils back and even more excited to meet those beginning their Scarisbrick Hall journey with us.

As we look ahead to the year before us, we are reminded that every conversation, gesture, act of kindness and positive action helps to shape our school community. With a proud legacy behind us, strong values guiding us and an exciting year ahead, we are ready to make it a truly memorable one

Following on from the success of our record-breaking A Level results, our 2026 cohort once again secured over 45% of their grades at 7–9, with the vast majority at the higher level. This cohort has produced incredible performances on stage, achievements in the sporting arena and commendations in national academic competitions. It was our pleasure to celebrate and share the successes of this wonderful group of young men and women. Congratulations to all of you; we look forward to seeing you thrive in Sixth Form and beyond.
