Did you know that we work inside prisons to address the housing needs of those who are preparing for release?
We work specifically with people who are at a turning point in their lives and wishing to make a new start whilst potentially facing homelessness.
We work intensively with those people alongside a range of services such as Probation, Police and Adult Social Care to ensure that the best pathway is available to them and that the pathway is supported 😊

Our CEO has been asked for comments regarding our new Prime Minister's announcement that he intends to end rough sleeping in the UK:
Greta has stated that 'we are delighted that homelessness has been prioritised by his Government and look forward to seeing how this will impact on our own communities across Sefton. Along with other homelessness agencies, charities and organisations across the country - we are thankful for the energy he intends to put into this goal and for his commitment to ending homelessness'.

An awesome concert given by the Choir with No Name at the weekend which a few of us were able to attend at the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool. The choir is part of a national charity providing fantastic opportunities for people who have experienced homelessness to come together and sing, connect in a positive way with others and develop a new and rewarding focus in their lives. It was a brilliant performance!

The weather is heating up again! 😎

Outreach are out and about in all temperatures, ensuring that anyone who is street homeless is offered opportunities to secure accommodation and engage with our own Health Inclusion, Trauma Counselling and support services as well as those with whom we work in partnership.

A big shout out to our Outreach Team who have been exceptionally busy this week in soaring temperatures ensuring that anyone who is street homeless has been offered opportunities to be housed and very importantly that they have been given water, sunscreen and signposted to Cool Spaces. Well done lads - keep hydrated yourselves!
