Making a Difference Together 🧡

At EFT Group, we're passionate about creating lasting social value in the communities where we live and work.

We were delighted to partner with Riverside Housing by donating kitchen starter kits to support the upcoming Salterbeck Stuff Store, funded by Riverside Housing.

Starting a new tenancy can be both exciting and challenging, particularly with the increasing cost of living. This fantastic initiative helps individuals and families access essential household items in a way that preserves dignity, choice and independence, allowing people to "shop" for the items they need as they settle into their new homes.

A huge thank you to Emma Bragg and the team at Riverside for helping make this happen and for the incredible work you're doing to support local communities. We are proud to play a small part in such a meaningful project. Together, partnerships like these can make a real difference.

🤠🎶 A Hoedown to Remember at Wealstone Care Home! 🎶🤠

The EFT Foundation was delighted to sponsor the recent Hoedown at Wealstone Care Home in Upton, Chester, a residential care home known for its commitment to delivering engaging activities that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of its residents.

From the photos and feedback we've seen, it looked like a fantastic afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, music and plenty of fun. Events like these play such an important role in bringing people together, creating lasting memories and supporting positive wellbeing for residents.

A huge thank you to Angela, Wealstone's Activities Co-ordinator, for organising what looked to be a wonderful event and for the passion and dedication you bring to enriching the lives of residents every day. 👏

Our team recently hosted a residents coffee morning at our upcoming project at Teal Beck House.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet residents, introduce the project in more detail and provide an open and welcoming space for them to ask questions and learn more about the works taking place.

At EFT we pride ourselves on meaningful community engagement and working collaboratively with our clients to create positive outcomes for the people and communities connected to our projects.

Throughout the project, we’ll be working alongside Anchor to deliver regular resident engagement sessions, creating opportunities for residents to come together, stay informed and feel involved throughout the journey.

We’re looking forward to building on the relationships made at the coffee morning and continuing to engage with residents as the project progresses.

🔥 WE DID IT! TOUGH MUDDER 2026 🔥

On Saturday, 30 of us from EFT Group took on the 15K Tough Mudder challenge — and what a day it was! 💪😂

🌟 Yorkshire Social Value Network at St George's Crypt 🌟

Last week, members of the EFT CSR Team were delighted to attend the Yorkshire Social Value Network event hosted by St George's Crypt in Leeds.

It was a fantastic morning bringing together organisations that are passionate about creating meaningful social impact, with some really insightful discussions around PPN 0026, the evolving expectations of social value delivery, and how businesses can create stronger, more sustainable outcomes for local communities.

We were also pleased to meet Ego Technology and learn more about the excellent work they are doing to support the rehabilitation and employability of people leaving the prison system, helping individuals build brighter futures through meaningful opportunities.

One of the highlights of the day was discovering more about St George's Crypt itself. For almost a century, the charity has been supporting people experiencing
homelessness, addiction and vulnerability across Leeds, providing not only immediate practical support but also pathways into independent living, training and employment.

We were particularly inspired to hear about the success of their programmes, with 17 graduates in 2026 moving forward into more stable and independent lives. Behind every number is a person, a journey and a second chance, and that is exactly the kind of impact that deserves to be celebrated.

The work being carried out by the team at St George's Crypt is truly life-changing, and we left Leeds feeling that there is a real alignment between their values and those of the EFT Foundation. We look forward to exploring how we might work together in the future to support even more people to overcome adversity and reach their potential.

🔥 WE DID IT! TOUGH MUDDER 2026! 🔥

Well, that was a weekend! 😂💪 30 of us took on the 15K Tough Mudder, tackled the obstacles, got absolutely covered in mud and pushed ourselves to the limit. We’re still feeling it today! 🥵

But the best news of all? WE’VE SMASHED OUR £7,500 FUNDRAISING TARGET! 🎉❤️
