In this latest episode, Annie Warren sits down with storyteller Ling Peng to explore her journey, creative practice, and experiences as part of the I Am A Storyteller project.

A classically trained Erhu musician, Ling combines traditional Chinese music with storytelling to create engaging and inspiring performances 🎡

As part of the project, Ling worked closely with Spectrum WASPS in Mansfield, using storytelling and music to connect with participants and share Chinese culture in an authentic and engaging way.

Grab your musical passport and join our team of explorers for a high-octane journey across continents! 🌍 Discover incredible rhythms, rare instruments and secret sounds of our world. Collect stamps in your passport along the way. Once we reach our destination, it's over to you to try out the instruments and meet the musicians.

Destination: Music! will be taking off at Southwell Library on Saturday 19 September at 3.30pm before departing to Kirkby-in-Ashfield Library on Saturday 14 November.

Aimed at babies aged 0 - 9 months and their mums, these FREE sessions are your chance to relax and bond with in a calm space, while we sing and listen to melodies from around the world to soothe and uplift 🎡

Lullaby bank welcomes expectant mothers in their third trimester - learn soothing songs, relax, practice mindfulness and breathing, and you will meet other mums and make friends ahead of the arrival of your baby πŸ’€

Remaining spaces available at the following libraries:
Eastwood, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Hucknall, Newark, Southwell, Mansfield, Carlton Hill, Carlton and Arnold Libraries.
