Situated in Spalding our leisure centre caters for all individuals and provides numerous facilities. These include a gym with 45+ pieces of fitness equipment, a 25m pool, learner pool, 45 classes, 25 metre pool, sports hall, indoor bowls and sauna. 🏆 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: From Holiday Paddler to Age-Group Winner! 🥇

✨Meet our SwimFit Members - Louise and Peter! - Here is what they have said about there swimming journey....

Peter and I have been duathletes (run bike run) for a few years now, swimming only entered the picture when Peter used it as part of his recovery. In November 2025 our coach suggested I give it a go too despite my “swimming experience” being limited to holiday fun. I started in the Tuesday beginners’ class, then I moved up to a different swimming class to improve swimming with triathlons in mind.

We both tried one of Lynn’s Swimfit lessons at 6:30am on a Tuesday before committing to the membership, we were nervous about the session as we felt out of our comfort zone but suddenly early‑morning swimming has now become part of our routine.

Fast‑forward to today: we’ve completed two SuperSprint triathlons (pool swims), I was over the moon to have come first in my age group in both races — something I never imagined when I first stepped into that beginner’s class. We are both gearing up for a sprint triathlon at Woodhall Spa on 20 September.

Lynn’s coaching has been central to this whole journey. She pushes us but also supports us. She keeps every session fun even when it’s tough. Her positivity has helped us become genuinely swim‑fit and triathlon‑ready for the events we have already completed. We know we have lots more to learn but we are so grateful for everything she’s brought to our training. We’re excited for what’s ahead and for the adventures still to come.
