Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue is reviewing its emergency response arrangements to ensure services remain resilient, effective and sustainable for the future.

📢 Reminder – Upcoming Road Closure 📢

Residents are reminded that Broadgate Road, Sutton St Edmund (between Cross Road and New Fen D**e), is due to close from Monday 10 August for essential carriageway maintenance works.

🚧 The closure will be in place for up to 6 days between 10 August and 6 September, as required by the contractor.

Please allow extra time for your journeys and plan ahead where possible.

🎉 GOOD NEWS FOR OUR PARISH! 🎉

We’re delighted to share some exciting news with residents, our application to the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, supported through funding from Wrydecroft Wind Farm, has been successful!

And that means good things are coming to our parish…

📌 Brand-new and upgraded parish noticeboard!

🎠 A new roundabout for the playing field!

It’s fantastic to be able to invest in our Parish and improve the places and facilities we all share.

A huge thank you to the Cambridge Community Foundation and Wrydecroft Wind Farm for supporting our Parish and helping us make these projects happen.

We’ll share more updates as things progress.

🌞The hot weather is forecast to return next week, so we will be collecting refuse, recycling and garden waste from 05.30am from Monday 10 to Friday 14 August.

Please ensure that you have your bags and bins ready for collection.
