The end of a fantastic achievement in Spennymoor over 54 years of service to the Town, the Rotary Club of Spennymoor formally ends giving out over £2,000 throughout the Rotary year followed by the remaining monies £6,000 totalling over £8,000 to local and international organisations and causes. President Tony Jackson with Town Mayor Elizabeth Wood and Deputy Mayor Liz Maddison.

Even though we stop our normal meetings in person due to Covid-19 it doesn't mean we not here, we still here supporting local organisations/charity's and planning for the new Rotary year we now have weekly meetings on Zoom. President Tony popped in to Helping Spennymoor Group this morning at the Youth Centre to see the great work being done by this amazing team delivering Care Packages to local people who require help and support through this difficult time of Covid-19. To see first hand the Packages being made and how our Donation from us has helped them. From Everyone at Rotary Spennymoor keep up the fantastic work you are doing a great job.
