All in attendance a

re invited to speak, debate and vote - ideally with a glass of port in hand! Whilst we are proudly a conservative society - and affiliated with the UK Conservative and Unionist Party - we welcome students from all political persuasions who enjoy politics, banter, and real ale. In both semesters, we hold a number of other events, from our weekly Thatcher Thursday pub socials to formal black-tie dinners. Keep an eye on our page or our Instagram for further details throughout the academic year.

Following on from our fundraiser in support of last November, we’re delighted to share the end result of our donation. Over £1250 was raised, and has gone towards acquiring a large quantity of tourniquets for Jack Lopresti’s current unit, the 12th Special Forces Brigade. Thank you very much to everyone who attended and donated at the original event.

We were delighted to be joined by Mr Robert Topping and Sir Desmond Swayne on Saturday for our Candelmas Opening Dinner.
We would like to thank everyone who attended, in particular, Mr Teddy Banham, our Vice-Chair who cooked a hearty Scottish meal for our somewhat belated Burn's Night.
We do hope everyone who attended had a wonderful evening, especially our guests, who returned to StAUCA after some years away.
If you missed this event do keep an eye out on our Instagram for information about Alumni Dinner, our final dinner of the year.
