The Centre for Peace & Conflict Studies' February Seminar will be happening TODAY at 5:00pm in School V. The speaker will be Dr Richard Caplan, Professor of International Relations and Official Fellow at Linacre College at the University of Oxford. He will present a paper entitled The Measure of Peace. Doors open at 5:00pm.

Ticket sales for the Christiane Amanpour lecture are now open! Swing by the front of the library between now and 4PM today or tomorrow to get your ticket. Those of you who reserved tickets will need to bring a valid ID to pick yours up. Uncollected tickets will be resold at the door.

Due to the allocation of several extra seats, we will be selling additional tickets on the door until 6:20. As always, these tickets will be free for members and £4 for nonmembers.

This is a talk you won't want to miss. Lord Blair will be discussing police brutality, counterterrorism operations, corruption and homicide investigations, and more drawing upon 8 years of experience in the London Metropolitan Police, three of which he served as commissioner.
