🏆They did it!💦

On Sunday, Mayor, Cllr Catherine J Goodman and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Samantha Smith, stepped well outside their comfort zones to take on the Aqua Challenge at Ride Leisure, Wyboston Lakes, all in support of the Mayor's chosen charities.

Despite a few unexpected swims and plenty of determination, both completed the challenge with good humour and a shared commitment to raising funds for causes that make a real difference to people in our community.

The Mayor and Deputy Mayor were grateful for the support of family, friends, fellow councillors and members of the public who came along to cheer them on. A special thank you also goes to Ride Leisure for hosting the event and helping to make the day such a success.

This challenge was about much more than who crossed the finish line first though. It was about coming together as a community to support local charities Caring Together Charity, Care Network Cambridgeshire and Access in St Neots who provide invaluable help and support to our community every day.

💦One Aqua Park, One Kayak Race, One Winner! 💦

On Sunday 27 September at 10am at Ride Leisure, Wyboston Lakes, Mayor Cllr Catherine Goodman and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Sam Smith will go head-to-head across the Aqua Park before taking on a kayak race around the island to raise funds for their chosen charities:

Access in St Neots - Caring Together Charity - Care Network Cambridgeshire

The café will be open and spectators are warmly welcomed. Come down and cheer them on if you can 🙂

Have your say on transport in our area

St Neots Town Council, Little Paxton Parish Council and Great Paxton Parish Council are working together to develop a Multi-Parish Neighbourhood Plan, helping to shape the future of our local communities.

Good transport connections are important for getting to work, education, healthcare, shops, leisure activities, and for visiting family and friends.

We want to hear about your experiences of getting around the area, whether you travel by foot, bicycle, wheelchair or mobility scooter, bus, train or car.

This survey will help us understand:

- How people currently travel around the area
- What barriers or challenges they experience
- What improvements could make the biggest difference
