Want to meet some like-minded people and make a difference to local nature? Come along to our Green Conversation this Thursday (18 June).

We're hosting it at The Wolseley Centre from 10am until 12pm.

Discover how you can participate in citizen science projects, the journey of the data you help gather, and the insights it provides about our local environment.

We will also delve into the upcoming State of Staffordshire report. Additionally, there will be a brief session covering identification apps and the recording of local flora and fauna. 🌿

Footpath closure notice reminder ⛔

The wet meadow walk will be closed from this week (day TBC, but likely Friday) for around 3 weeks. This is the section which from the footbridge to the river.

We're installing 100 metres of board walk, making this area much better under foot in wet conditions.

We'll update once the work is complete. Visitors will still be able to access the river from the path that runs past the hide.

Footpath closure notice ⛔

From week commencing Monday 15 June (date to be confirmed) the footpath through the wet meadow (from the footbridge to the river) will be closed while we have contractors on site.

We're installing 100 metres of board walk, making this area much better under foot in wet conditions.

It's likely it will be closed for the rest of June (roughly 3 weeks) and we'll update once the work is complete. Visitors will still be able to access the river from the path that runs past the hide.
