A wonderful bit of news for the end of the week and month!

Would you like to meet local businesses?

I'm a part of BNI, A morning networking group that meet on a Thursday morning.

As businesses local to Peterborough, we learn about each others businesses and look to refer other businesses we know outside of the group.

'Givers Gain' is the core value. Learning about each others trade and finding out the type of customer we are looking for, therefore we are able to pass business between us much easier. We do this by our 60 second presentations and open networking.

Each week we invite visitors to come along and meet with the group, have breakfast and learn about what the businesses at the group do, along with presenting what they do.

Today during a takeover maintenance visit we discovered 2 faulty smoke detectors. The detectors were not responding to our test smoke and could not be triggered.

If a fire had started in these areas, the customers fire alarm would not have triggered, meaning both a threat to life and to their assets.

Regular testing ensures every single device in your system works as it should. Out of 34 detectors on site, these 2 had failed. Comprehensive testing is essential. To protect your employees, your assets and to ensure insurance and health and safety standards are met.

We isolated the devices and went to a local supplier, returning to reinstate the devices, tested the system and ensured it responds as it should.

Life protection systems require proper and thorough testing. This example shows this.

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🎁

I’m taking a few days off now, pairing Christmas with moving house (what a time of year for it aye!) 🚛🏡

I want to thank my clients, all of the new connections I’ve made this year and the people closest to me who have supported me in starting this new business; which is somehow a year old being Ltd but still feels incredibly new.
