Absolutely love our little village in Shevington ♥️

It's really missing a good butchers and greengrocers though 😔

We went and dropped off 5 huge bin bags of clothes at Wigan and Leigh Hospice Shop....

Then we went to Magic scissor - first time there and the guys were absolutely lovely... I always worry walking into a barbers to ask for my undercut to be done as some people can be really rude when they say no (my anxiety goes crazy) I usually go to Mo in Shazza's in Standish but I couldn't be bothered trying to go and get parked up in Standish today! 😂

Nipped to The Muffin Man and saw all the lovely ladies whilst grabbing some school cake of course!

Then to Jordans Fish & Chips (simply the best) for a chip barm for lunch.

Everyone in Shevington Village Kitchen & Catering looked like they were being well looked after but we didn't need to go in today (sorry Lou!)

We love board games night!!

🎲 Board Game Night at Sherringtons

If you've been meaning to come along to one of these, now's your chance.
For just £3, you can spend a couple of hours playing board games, meeting new people, and doing something a bit different on a Wednesday evening.
The sessions are run by Stephen 'Spydah' Barr, who volunteers his time (and brings along his own games) to make them happen, and they've become a really popular part of what we do.
No experience needed, no pressure to know loads of games. Just come along and join in.

A lovely couple of hours (sweating our bits off 🫠) with Let's SHAPE Our Creativity CIC painting whimsical insects 🐝 not bad for our first ever time using any form of watercolour /paint /drawing!

The library is all fully changed over so lots of new reads to tempt you!

There is a set of 3 Jojo Moyes with an elastic band around as they're meant to be read in order.

If anyone has any donations, particularly children's books please pop them in the black donation box at the front of the house.
