Africa On The Ball at the 98th Agricultural and Commercial Show

Africa On The Ball (AOTB) is excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at this year’s 98th Agricultural and Commercial Show of Zambia under the theme “Fostering Trade and Investment for Economic Growth.”

As an organization dedicated to changing lives through football, education, youth empowerment, and community development, we look forward to engaging with exhibitors, partners, stakeholders, and members of the public throughout the show.

Today, we hosted a Community Engagement Stakeholders Meeting, bringing together key partners and stakeholders to share our vision for an exciting new chapter in the transformation of the Kalingalinga community.

The meeting was attended by representatives from theNational Sports Council of Zambia the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), Kalingalinga Primary School, Sport In Action, Racheal Kundananji Legacy Foundation, Kambo Health Initiative, EduSport and other valued stakeholders, all united by a shared commitment to empowering communities through sport, education, and meaningful partnerships.

The meeting was led by our Director, Mr. Kelvin Chasauka, who unveiled plans for the proposed Kalingalinga Community Hub, the project will establish a permanent base for Africa on the Ball while providing a modern multi-purpose hall, a community library, upgraded sports facilities, and safe recreational spaces for community members.

This initiative will not only strengthen Africa on the Ball’s impact but also create a centre for opportunity, learning, and community development. The Community Hub will provide young people with greater access to education, sport, skills development, and positive recreational activities. It will also contribute to addressing key social challenges, including unemployment, drug abuse, and teenage pregnancies, by creating pathways to a brighter future.

We believe this project will leave a lasting legacy in Kalingalinga, transforming lives and creating opportunities for generations to come. We are grateful to all the stakeholders who joined us today and look forward to working together to turn this vision into reality.

Agness the Versatile

At Africa On The Ball, we are continually inspired by Agness’ achievements. From a young age, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership both on and off the pitch.

An outstanding A-grade student, Agness is equally committed to serving her community. She leads our weekly outreach programme across four schools in Kalingalinga, mentoring young people through football, education, and life skills. In recognition of her dedication and leadership, she currently serves as our Outreach Coordinator.

Beyond her role at Africa On The Ball, Agness is an accomplished footballer with Zedpro Sports Foundation, competing in the Zambia National League. She is currently in Botswana, proudly representing Zambia at an international university tournament.

Your dedication, discipline, humility, and determination continue to inspire everyone around you. We are immensely proud of all that you have achieved and have no doubt that even greater milestones lie ahead.
