Braehead & Broomridge CDT

Braehead & Broomridge CDT Braehead, Broomridge & District Community Development Trust is a charity set up to create opportunities and resources in our community

Braehead, Broomridge & District Community Development Trust is a new charity (SC046408) set up to help tackle local issues and enhance the quality of life in our area. BBCDT is owned and managed by local residents. BBCDT can work across a range of economic, social, environmental and cultural areas – the scope of the charity is limited only by our imagination and commitment to our community. BBCDT

is FREE to join and is a great way to keep up to date with what is happening across Braehead and Broomridge with our regular newsletter and quarterly meetings. By joining you also help us demonstrate to funders that we are a united community – which means we could access funds for a whole host of community projects.

We hope everyone has had a good start to the growing season this year! Down at Braehead Community Garden, we are finding it a bit better than last year (thankfully!!).

But no matter if it's home grown, home made or been self-sufficient in your own garden, I am sure you will all have some produce and items you can enter into our annual Horticultural Show. We have a category for everyone - growers, bakers, crafters, kids.

Free admittance on the day, 20p entry fee per item, raffle and lots of delicious home made cakes....and if the sun shines the day will be perfect! You can collect a copy of the schedule (with entry form at the back) from the garden Tuesday & Saturday mornings, you can request a copy via email (contact [email protected]) or download a copy from our website. Couldn't be easier 😁

Pop along, families and dogs welcome. Fresh produce for sale too.
