Our KS3 library has display of the poetry pieces that were created, both collaboratively and individually, in our creative ‘Wonder Through a Window’ activity.

👪 | Stockport is offering a free, evidence-based parenting programme designed to support parents and carers of children aged 10–16 years. The programme runs over 13 weeks during term time, with weekly 3-hour sessions delivered by trained facilitators. This is through an organisation called Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC)

The programme helps parents and carers to:
• Strengthen family relationships
• Build positive parenting skills
• Develop a greater understanding of child and adolescent development
• Boost children's confidence and social skills
• Manage challenges and improve family wellbeing

She showed great determination & resilience with fantastic fights against the current world No1 & previous world champion! 👏👏👏

🖋️ | On 1st October, we will be celebrating National Poetry Day, this year’s theme being WONDER.
Throughout the morning, students will have opportunities to read and reflect on a poem by a contemporary poet and take part in our creative ‘Wonder Through a Window’ activity.
Students will be encouraged to think about what makes them wonder and express their ideas through words, poetry and illustration.
Completed windows will help create a collaborative National Poetry Day display in our school library.
