Happy Father's Day!

Today, we celebrate all the amazing dads and fatherly figures who have helped us throughout our lives with their compassion and guidance.

This is also a day to support everyone with fathers and grandfathers who have passed on, and reflect on all the wonderful memories shared with them.

Andrew, a person we support in Newbury, went on his dream trip to Windsor Castle. 🏰

He enjoyed a lovely stroll around the castle, taking lots of beautiful pictures, and even seeing the Kings Guard march (see picture 2)!

To end the day, Andrew treated himself to a souvenir book, ate some delicious fish & chips, and reflected on the day with a warm cup of tea. ☕️

In case you missed it, this year Creative Support turns 35! Last Friday, we kicked off the birthday celebrations in Leeds. People enjoyed a day filled with dancing, singing, face painting, mask making and a delicious three-course meal.

At their lively coffee morning, the people we support in Tameside enjoyed singing and dancing to their favourite songs, including 'I am the Music Man' and the 'Hokey Cokey'. 🎶

In this year’s prestigious Housing with Care Awards, four of our lovely staff and services were finalists across different categories, celebrating their achievements and hard work. 🏆

Samantha Hirst from Leeds was a finalist in the Team Leader Award, while Brandling Court, Oakvale and Hilltop Cottages were finalists in the Care Team Award. Each of these wonderful nominees have gone above and beyond in their support for their tenants, uplifting their voices and spirits, and helping people achieve incredible outcomes. We are so proud of everyone in these services for their collective efforts, which were recognised on the stage at the Housing with Care Awards event on Friday 5th June.

We're sure you'll all join us in congratulating the people and services nominated on such a momentous stage 👏

The theme for 2026 is 'Do you see me?', considering whether people with a learning disability are being seen, heard and valued.
