Meet Wenna, one of our Project Workers here at The Wellspring 👋
Wenna first came to The Wellspring as a volunteer back in 2021 and, like a lot of people who spend time here, she quickly realised it was somewhere she wanted to stay. She’s now part of the full-time team and a familiar face to many of the people who walk through our doors!
What really stands out for Wenna is seeing small but important changes happen over time, especially when someone who’s been unsure about support starts to open up and trust again. Being part of that journey and building those relationships is something she feels really lucky to do.
If someone is unsure about reaching out, Wenna’s advice is simple, just come down. You’ll be met with kindness, no judgement, and people who genuinely want to help 💚
And a little bit about Wenna outside of work, she’s originally from Wales and loves going back to visit family, although she always looks forward to coming back here too. Most of her time off is spent with her husband and little boy, usually catching up with friends or heading to the theatre 💜
