🌟 Shared Lives featured on BBC One’s The One Show 🌟

We’re proud to see Shared Lives highlighted on BBC One’s The One Show, shining a national spotlight on how family based support can make a real difference for young people leaving care.

The feature shows how Shared Lives offers stability, belonging and the chance to build independence within a supportive home - with relationships that don’t come with a fixed end date 🥰

At Stockton Shared Lives, we believe in the power of community and shared family life to help people thrive. If you’ve ever thought about opening your home or want to learn more about how Shared Lives can support people locally, this is well worth a watch!

☕ 🤗 On Monday (19 January) it's Samaritans’ Brew Monday, a reminder to reach out for a cuppa and a catch-up with the people you care about.

It’s a simple reminder to connect, listen, and support each other through real conversations – helping to combat loneliness and support mental wellbeing.

And remember, if you or someone you know needs more support, there is plenty of help available. Visit www.stockton.gov.uk/Support-for-people-with-mental-health-needs for more details.
