At Bridge House, we do more than provide a roof over someone’s head—we provide a lifeline. Based in Stockton-on-Tees, we offer supported accommodation to single homeless individuals facing complex challenges, such as mental health struggles, addiction, and trauma. Our mission is to empower residents to rebuild their lives, gain confidence, and move towards independent

living. With a compassionate team and a community-focused approach, we provide the tools, support, and encouragement our residents need to achieve lasting change. Every person who walks through our doors has a story, and at Bridge House, we work to help them turn the page to a brighter chapter. From offering practical resources to fostering a sense of belonging, we strive to create a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels valued. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the family of Lee Wilson for their very kind donation of the proceeds from his funeral to us. Their generosity and thoughtfulness during such a difficult time are deeply appreciated.

In honour of Lee’s memory, we held a “Celebration of His Life” afternoon for our residents. The occasion included a buffet and a selection of treats, providing an opportunity for everyone to come together, share memories, and reflect on Lee’s life.

It was a truly lovely afternoon, and all of the residents greatly enjoyed spending time together in remembrance of him. Lee will be remembered with great fondness, and we are sincerely thankful to his family for enabling us to celebrate his life in such a meaningful way.
