Brief Job Description
Job: Private postroom worker and driver
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Job Type: Part Time (1 day per week + cover)
Job Summary: Private postal worker in small office collecting, sorting and shipping post/parcels. The Job will be independent working based at the Grange Business Centre. Training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Collect, process and deliver mail to local client businesses.
• Parcel processing and management.
• Customer service on phone and in person.
Qualification and Skills:
• Full driving licence.
• Be familiar with Excel and word.
• Be able to (or willing to be trained to) process bills and invoices in Quickbooks
• Conform with security safety requirements for site access.

Only a small package but a bit on the heavy side (5.72kg). Royal Mail would charge you £20.25 for a standard un-tracked service. We sent it on a fully tracked courier service (DPD 24) for £10.
