Jigsaw exchange at Stokenchurch Community Library

On top of the many 1000 piece jigsaws that we already have, we have just had a very kind donation of quite a few 500 piece jigsaws. So if you are looking for a smaller puzzle (or a bigger one as well!), come down to see our large collection. All available to borrow for a small donation, and all money stays with the library.

FREE SESSION TOMORROW 7PM

Tomorrow evening at Stokenchurch Community Library is our latest family history and genealogy session. It’s free of charge and runs from 7-9pm. Come down and utilise our enthusiastic volunteers knowledge to assist you on that latest family history project.

Here at Stokenchurch Community Library we are proud to be promoting the 'Go all in' campaign as part of the National Year of Reading. Attached is the launch video explaining the campaign, and below is the link to their website.

The purpose of the campaign is to encourage everyone (adults and children) to read - 'if you're into in, read into it'.

Basically, whatever your interest or hobby is, come to the library to find a book about it. We have access to the entire Bucks library system and therefore can get books delivered to Stokenchurch on a wide range of topics. Sewing, football, astronomy, gardening, etc. If you enjoy it, we'll be able to find a book about it for you. And don't worry if you're not a library member yet. Just bring some photo ID with you and you can join for free.

We can't wait to hear about your hobbies, interests and passions. And to see which books you choose. See you all soon!

Apologies for the late post, but here are March's key stage 2 book club photos, where we made tote bags. As you can see we had another excellent turn out and we all had a great time.

April's session is on the 29th between 5-6.30pm and the activity is 'DIY seasonings'!

We are looking for £1-2 for the 500 and 1000 piece jigsaws, and 50p for the 200 piece Renoir one. All money received will be retained by Stokenchurch Community Library (registered charity number 1148889).

Listed on multiple sites. Collection can be from either the library (during opening hours), or one of our volunteers houses in Stokenchurch. Please contact us first so we can ensure the jigsaw you want is in the correct place.

Come down to visit us at Stokenchurch Community Library over the Easter period, borrow a book using your library card, and pick an Easter egg as a gift from us (whilst stocks last).
