💦 SUNDAY FUNDAY!
The Pool is open 10am-6pm with our Inflatable Swoopee in action from 1pm-3pm.

There’s no kids entertainment this week as the Friends of the Pool will be busy manning their fundraising stall at Stonehaven Harbour Festival selling merchandise and raffle tickets.

But there’s something else to look forward to…
Our team of lifeguards will be taking part in the Harbour Festival raft race at 3pm. 🙌

They’ve been busy planning, designing and building their raft and we can’t wait to see how they get on. (If it all goes horribly wrong at least they can save themselves! 😂) If you’re heading along to the Harbour Festival make sure you cheer them on 📣

No need to choose how you spend your Sunday as your pool ticket gives you access all day so you can go for a swim, pop down to the Harbour Festival and come back to the pool afterwards. Just show your receipt at reception for re-entry.

😎 Only 2 weekends left now until we close the doors on our Summer Season 🥲. If you haven't visited yet this year then we'd love you to join all our regulars, and come to spend some time with us in the lovely warm pool while you still have the opportunity. There is 𝗻𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱, just pay at reception on arrival. Open 7 days a week until Sunday 06th September.

🚣 You can also support our intrepid team of lifeguards who will be taking part in the raft race.

🏊 You will find our full timetable of events and answers to many FAQs in the post pinned at the top of our page. There is no extra charge or booking required for any of the above, and the pool remains open to everyone during all our events.

🚘 As always, the car park is very busy but there is lots of free parking in Baird Park directly across the road. Just follow the yellow signs from the roundabout.

🐾 DOGGY SWIMS: BOOKING OPENS TUESDAY 1st SEPTEMBER @ 7pm 🌊

NB: These sessions take place after the pool has closed to humans for the summer. The pool will then be shut and cleaned before our cold water swim sessions begin.

Tickets will be available through the Live Life Aberdeenshire app and website from 7pm on Tuesday 1st September.

Wednesday 9 September: 4.30pm | 5.30pm | 6.30pm | 7.30pm

Each session is 45 minutes.
📸 We’ll have a photographer with us during the sessions capturing some of our four-legged swimmers in action.

💦 AQUA ZUMBA TIME CHANGE! 🕺

If you turn up today at 11.30am expecting to join Shona for Aqua Zumba you’re going to be sorely disappointed when you’re met with a locked door! 🤦‍♀️

We’re now on our late season timetable so Tuesday Aqua Zumba has moved to 2pm-3pm.

No booking required. Just pay your normal pool entry fee and join in! Suitable for all abilities and the pool remains open to all users during the session.

Just imagine how many photos featuring Stonehaven Open Air Pool are tucked away in family albums around the country capturing generations of swimmers and memories made here over the years. ❤️

We love this one shared with us by a Facebook follower. Taken in the 60's it shows them and their older brother enjoying a day at the pool. A little snapshot of summer in Stonehaven from more than 60 years ago.

So much has changed since then but the pool is still making memories today. And with just TWO WEEKS left of our 2026 season there’s still time to make some more. 🙌
