A message from GWR

We are writing to let you know about planned track renewals which will affect train services between Worcester Foregate Street and Hereford from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October.

Replacement road transport is planned between Worcester Shrub Hill and Great Malvern or Hereford.

During this work:

GWR trains will continue to run between London Paddington and Worcester Shrub Hill, with some services extending to Worcester Foregate Street.
GWR trains will also run between Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Shrub Hill.
West Midlands Railway trains will run between Birmingham New Street and Worcester Shrub Hill, with some services extending to Worcester Foregate Street.


Customers should check their journeys before travelling and allow extra time where replacement road transport is required.

We are sorry for the inconvenience these changes will cause and thank customers for their patience while the track renewals take place.

Road Closure - 6658 Stroud Half Marathon - 25/10/2026

Please be advised of the following closures:

These roads will be closed (as per the attached plans) from 25/10/2026 to 25/10/2026 to allow for the Stroud Half Marathon and 10k road races.
Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained.
