Stourport SCITT - School Centred Initial Teacher Training Stourport SCITT is the longest established School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider in Worcestershire.

Our bespoke, school led training gives you the opportunity to learn ‘on the job’ in our network of schools across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire. You will work as part of a teaching team from day one, learning from experienced, practising colleagues. You will immediately get the chance to put your new found skills into practice whilst being fully immersed within a school environment!

The SCITT course lasts a year and leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with 60 masters-level credits awarded by Birmingham City University (BCU) upon successful completion. All training with BCU is held at our dedicated Training Centre in Stourport.
