There's still time to enter!

🎨 Stourport-on-Severn Town Councils Stourport Future Working Group are excited to invite the young people of Stourport to take part in a town wide design competition during the summer holidays.

🖌 Following feedback received from residents regarding the bus stop on the High Street, Stourport-on-Severn, children are being asked to design a poster which captures the 'best bits' about living in our town. The winning designs will then be featured on the bus stop.

We can't wait to welcome you to Stourport-on-Severn Carnival this year!

Please find below some key information for visitors attending Carnival:

• First aid:

First aid cover will be available for the duration of the event. Please ask a marshal or member of the events team if you need any assistance.

• Road closures:

Road closures will be in place for the walking parade as it travels through the town centre along public highways. Please allow extra time for your journey and plan your route to avoid the road closures in place.

• Lost child point :

If you become separated from a child, please go straight to the designated lost child point at the Welfare Caravan, by the Riverside Bandstand and speak to a marshal immediately

• Toilets:

Toilet facilities are available at the Riverside Meadows, located in the lower car park. Disabled and baby changing facilities are available.

• Parking:

Please be a considerate neighbour and park responsibly. There are several pay and display car parks in Stourport-on-Severn. 🎉🎉Stourport Carnival 2026 is getting closer!🎉🎉

Things are heating up for the carnival, with some fabulous hot food stalls joining us on the day. Whether it's smash burgers from local favourites BMK Stourport, a taste of Thailand from Thai Cuisine House, Mediterranean street food with Souvlaki to Go, or delicious slow cooked meats from Stuffed any way you like, there is hot food to suit everyone. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available too.

Have a sweet tooth? Watch this space for the wonderful sweet treats that will be available on the day...

The event will take place down on the Riverside Meadows, Stourport-on-Severn, with the walking parade leaving War Memorial Park (Lickhill Road/Lower Lickhill Road) at 12noon. The parade will travel through the town centre down the High Street, onto New Street, down Martins Way, ending on the Riverside Meadows.
Join us for a brilliant family day out featuring the walking parade, classic car show, market stall holders, food vendors, live music, children’s entertainment and a dog show.
Please note that road closures will be in place on the day.

Best Dressed Shop Window Competition - Stourport Carnival – 5th September 2026

The Mayor of Stourport, Councillor Tim Berry, has invited all town centre shops and businesses to join our Best Dressed “Colours of the Rainbow” Window Display competition, to celebrate Stourport Carnival. Judging of the windows will be done via a resident’s vote on the Facebook group We love stourport past and present.

To enter, businesses simply need to email a photograph of their completed window to [email protected] by Wednesday 26th August 2026. Voting will go live on Friday 28th August and close on Monday 7th September 2026.

We want to encourage everyone to visit our town centre and look at the decorated windows before voting!
