๐ŸŒŸ Another Busy and Exciting Week at Stow Primary! ๐ŸŒŸ

This week, we were delighted to welcome our future Primary 1 learners and their families for a transition morning. It was wonderful to see the children exploring their new environment, meeting staff, making new friends and getting a taste of life at Stow Primary. We canโ€™t wait to welcome them officially after the summer!

๐Ÿ’ป Our P5โ€“7 learners also took the lead in delivering an informative assembly on Cyber Resilience. They shared important messages about staying safe online, making sensible choices when using technology, and knowing where to go for help if something doesnโ€™t feel right. We were very impressed by their confidence, knowledge and presentation skills.

Another fantastic week of learning, leadership and community spirit at Stow Primary!

๐ŸŒฟ Another Fantastic Week at Stow Primary! ๐ŸŒฟ

On Thursday, our P1โ€“7 learners enjoyed a brilliant Outdoor Learning Day, making the most of learning beyond the classroom!

๐Ÿ•๏ธ Pupils took part in activities including:

* Den building
* Exploring the mud kitchen
* Bug hunting and investigating nature

It was wonderful to see our learners fully engaged, working together, solving problems and showing creativity throughout the day. Across all activities, children applied and developed a wide range of MetaSkills including collaboration, curiosity, creativity, communication, initiative, critical thinking and resilience.

๐Ÿ† We then rounded off the week with our usual celebration of successes in learning and wider achievements, recognising the fantastic efforts and accomplishments of our learners both in and out of school.

๐ŸŒŸ Another Fantastic Week at Stow Primary! ๐ŸŒŸ

Our P3โ€“7 learners had the wonderful opportunity to take part in the Galashiels Roadshow, learning about a variety of world religions thanks to Edinburgh Interfaith. It was a valuable experience which encouraged curiosity, understanding and respect for different beliefs and cultures.

๐Ÿ† We also celebrated successes in learning from Nursery right through to Primary 7, recognising the hard work, creativity and achievements of our learners across the school.

๐ŸŽญ Our P3 learners entertained us brilliantly with their confidence and enthusiasm, bringing smiles to everyone during assembly!

๐Ÿƒ A huge well done to our very young runners who completed an incredible 2.5 km run โ€“ what a fantastic achievement showing determination and resilience!

๐ŸŒŸ Two Great Weeks at Stow Primary! ๐ŸŒŸ

Weโ€™ve had a fantastic couple of weeks filled with learning, new experiences and exciting opportunities for our pupils.

๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ Our learners had the opportunity to meet PC Robertson, where they learned about online safety, cyberbullying, and what to do if they ever feel worried or unsafe online. These important discussions helped reinforce how to stay safe, respectful and responsible in the digital world.

๐Ÿš’ Our P5โ€“7 learners were also visited by the Fire Brigade, who delivered an important and engaging session on water safety. Pupils learned how to stay safe around rivers, lochs and open water, especially as we move towards the summer months.

๐Ÿ† As always, we took time to celebrate our learning and achievements, recognising the hard work, progress and wider successes of our pupils both in and out of school.

๐ŸŽญ Our P5โ€“7 learners also began an exciting intergenerational project with Borders Youth Theatre. We are looking forward to seeing the confidence, creativity and connections that develop through this wonderful opportunity.

Another two weeks full of learning, collaboration and achievement โ€“ well done, Team Stow!
