Service Users and Staff were invited by Stranraer Oyster Festival to visit the site this morning, during final preparations. Allana, lead the tour of the various marquees including The Kitchen, The Entertainment and The Produce marquees talking about their planning, set up and their hopes for the Festival. Tristan from Loch Ryan Oyster Company shared the story of the local oysters 🦪 . Staff and service users, who were willing, had a taster session of some fresh oysters. Thank-you all for making us so welcome on such a busy morning for you !!

The Garrick Older Adult Day Care had a trip to Logan Gardens. Slight drizzle of rain did not stop everyone from enjoying the walk, plants, shrubs, fish and of course their lunch 🥪 ☕️🍰

Yesterday we proudly celebrated Julie Armstrong’s 10 years of outstanding service at Stranraer Skills Station. Julie’s commitment, kindness, and hard work have made a lasting impact on everyone she supports and works alongside.

To mark this special milestone, a VERY surprised Julie received her 10-year Service Award, beautiful flowers, and a thoughtful gift from all of us here at Stranraer Skills Station — a token of our huge appreciation.
