Please be aware of this scam using the Ringo app....👀👀

Warwickshire County Council is warning residents and visitors to be vigilant following a recent increase in fraudulent SMS text messages claiming to be from RingGo.

The scam messages falsely state that recipients have outstanding parking charges and direct them to a website link to make payment.

Do not click on any links contained within these messages.

Neither RingGo nor Warwickshire County Council will send text messages requesting payment for parking sessions via a link. Anyone receiving an unexpected payment request by SMS should treat it as suspicious.

If you have received one of these messages, do not provide any personal, banking or payment information. RingGo customers can verify their parking activity directly through the RingGo app or by visiting the official website at help.myringgo.co.uk.

Anyone who is unsure whether a message is genuine should contact RingGo Customer Services through the live chat function within the RingGo app or via help.myringgo.co.uk.
If in doubt, do not click the link, do not make a payment, and do not share your personal information.

🏠From 15 September 2026, the new Stratford-on-Avon Home Choice system will replace Home Choice Plus.

If you're currently registered with Home Choice Plus, you'll need to submit a new application between 15 September and 27 October 2026. Doing so may allow you to retain your existing band start date or application date, where applicable, following reassessment.

📅 Key dates:
• 17 August 2026: Home Choice Plus closes to new applications
• 15 September 2026: Stratford-on-Avon Home Choice opens
• 27 October 2026: First bidding cycle on the new system

Support will be available throughout the transition for anyone who needs help with their application.

The kids were having a great time there☺️!

🚲 Exciting improvements to the children's cycle training track at Stratford-upon-Avon's Recreation Ground are already proving a hit with local families!

Following a major £150,000 refurbishment, the track has doubled in size and now features additional traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, new cycling routes, bike parking, seating and landscape features to help young riders build confidence and road awareness in a fun, safe environment.
