Wild About Gairloch began as a venture between several groups in the Gairloch area of Wester Ross in 2011 and was a four day exploration of the natural wildlife of the beautiful area, including boat trips, guided walks and evening presentations by recognised experts in their field. In 2012 it is to become a year round celebration of everything 'wild' in the Wester Ross area including the landscape

, art, photography, wildlife, nature, food and drink through a combination of events, activities, demonstrations, walks, speakers and much, much more! Details of the events planned for the year of 2012 so far are:

Wild About Art Weekend - 13th to 16th April 2012
Wild About Nature Week - 21st to 27th June 2012
Wild About Food Weekend - 28th Sept to 1st Oct 2012
