Strathaven Miniature Railway

Strathaven Miniature Railway Strathaven Miniature Railway based in Strathaven Park. We open Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays 11-4.30 (weather permitting) from Easter to September.

The railway is run entirely by volunteers.
£1 per passenger, cash or card taken at the gate. The railway has been running in one form or another in Strathaven Park since 1949. It is currently operated by the members & volunteers of Strathaven Model Society. It runs from April to September each year & is open on a Saturday & Sunday afternoon, as well most bank holiday mondays. Fares are £1 per person.

The 28th annual Balloon Festival will take place this weekend - Fri 28th, Sat 29th and Sun 30th August.
The Wee Train we will be operating over the three days:
Friday from approx 16.30 to 20.00hrs
Saturday from approx 09.00 to 20.00hrs
Sunday from approx 09.00 to 20.00hrs
All depending on the weather.
