📢 Proposed 20mph speed limit for Street — have your say

Somerset Council is consulting on a proposal to introduce a 20mph speed limit on various roads across Street. The roads affected are shown in orange on the attached map, with full details available through the link below.

The proposal has been developed following a request from Street Parish Council and an assessment against Department for Transport guidance. Its stated aim is to reduce the risk of danger to people and traffic using the roads.

We are holding our fire station open day on Saturday 19th September from 10:00-14:00! Come along and meet the crew and have a look around the fire station. Its a celebration of Street fire station being opened on Cranhill road 60 years ago! 🚒🔥👨‍🚒🧯

On the day we have visitors from DocBike Somerset & Avon, Avon and somerset police and vintage fire engines plus much more! We will also be carrying out some fire service demonstrations! 🚑🚔🚒

We look forward to welcoming you to Street fire station!!

This month's Nintendo Switch Club and Cozmo (the robot) session was so much fun. We had some awesome dance moves (and a lot of laughter - even from the adults)!
