All slip roads onto M60 Junction 7 will be closed, with lane closures on the A56, from 19:00 until 06:00, starting Monday 17th August.

🚨 Bev Craig wins the first preference vote in Trafford with more than 50% of votes cast 🚨

Congratulations to Bev Craig for Greater Manchester Mayor, the new Mayor of Greater Manchester!

Here is a summary of the first preference votes in Trafford:

🌹 1st — Bev Craig (Labour) — 30,966 votes (50.12%)

2nd — Phil Eckersley (Conservative) — 9,315 votes (15.06%)

3rd — Sian Astley (Reform) — 8,620 votes (13.94%)

4th — Geraldine Coggins (Green) — 8,037 votes (12.95%)

5th — Marlon West (Restore) — 3,136 votes (5.07%)

6th — Martin Kilpatrick (Lib Dem) — 1,659 votes (2.69%)

7th — Marcus Farmer (Independent) — 181 votes (0.29%)

A total of 61,914 first preference votes were counted in Trafford.
