Walks From The Lamb

Walks From The Lamb I walk everyday, sometimes these are little walks, sometimes they will take up my whole day. I walk with friends, locals and mostly with my dogs.

I often chat to friends further afield and family while walking. Together we find great routes xx

Back to our lovely weekend walks. A drive to Bowbridge and started on the canal. Quite a walk up the hill towards the black horse, little stop, refreshments and off again across the common. Another little stop at old lodge.
Back across the common and down towards the canal, join the towpath and back to the car.

Lovely walk, very cold wind but dry at last. We tried this route the other day, but Ness, being scared of gun fire made us turn round.
Along accommodation lane, turn left through gate into first field. Though several fields straight along we turn on a diagonal right and head towards a gate to turn parallel to our route, through more fields and back onto accommodation lane just further along. We were out for a good hour, lots of running around for the dogs, low sun made for a lovely frosty walk. I only do this one of the cows are away. My fear not the dogs ๐Ÿ˜‚

Lovely walk today, along the canal, joined the old railway line towards Nailsworth. Had a drink in the Old Fleece. Went up the big hill to Kings Head at Kings court. First visit what a great little pub. Carried on to Rodborough common over the big hill and down the other side, finding ourselves at Bowbridge, perfect stop for a drink x

Another great walk yesterday, left the Lamb Inn, along accommodation lane, down towards Parish & Oldhills wood. Cross the river/canal and up to Frampton Mansell and the Crown Inn. Just intime to pour down while we had refreshments
Once it stopped raining we took a new route up hill to Jolly Nice farm shop, they have a new summer bar and its fantastic and very busy.
Now for the route home, so many new paths dropping down to Cowcombe wood, through and down to Chalford. Now for the up hill part. We took Marle Hill which is steep for quite a bit. Passed Old Neighbourhood and along middle hill back to the Lamb.

Lovely walk on Sunday inspired by a customer visiting.
Down to Bismore through the woods and up the other side, along the country lanes to Kiln farm, turn into fields through the not so friendly dog stiles, and down the woods through heaven's, a new path, thanks Dave, to come out with a great view of Crown and Sceptre, stop for refreshments. Little walk down hill to Bowbridge more refreshments.
Along the canal and it dip in the river for a well needed swim for the little ones. Fantastic day

Havenโ€™t posted a walk in a while, but we had a lovely walk last Sunday and although it was warm we were under the trees quite a lot. All areas I know well with a few paths Iโ€™d never done before, thanks to the great company Iโ€™m lucky enough to keep.
And a little excitement for Benji after falling in the canal and learning to swim ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ
