Stratford District Council’s Economic Development Team are hosting a business networking event on 29 September between 10am and 12noon at Wootton Park, B95 6HH.

The aim of the event is to bring together local businesses from across Stratford District for a morning of networking, knowledge-sharing and inspiration.

Attendees will receive:

• Complimentary light brunch and refreshments
• Informal networking with local businesses
• Inspirational talks from guest business speakers and an industry expert
• Opportunities to make valuable connections
• Guided venue tour.

This event is for any new or established business looking to grow their network, raise their profile and connect with the local business community.

***Studley Allotment Tenants***
Reminder of National Allotment Society charge - 1st November 2026.

In a meeting held September 2025 the Parish Council agreed to collect and charge each plot holder a National Allotment Society (NAS) membership levy from 1st November 2026. .
The membership levy is currently £3.50 per plot holder (joint tenancies will be charged per person) and the benefits include a discounted seed scheme, access to the NAS magazine, gardening advice and liability insurance.
The levy will be added to the allotment in November 2026. The Parish Council will forward the levy collected directly to the NAS with each plot holder details and be the administrator for the group membership. Plot holders will be able to access the membership account via their recorded email address.
All plot holders will be required to join the NAS membership scheme as a condition of their tenancy to ensure that everyone is covered with liability insurance.

Invoices are processed for annual plot charges from the 1st November 2026. Please contact the office to update any personal information and contact details.

The Regulation 19 Consultation for the South Warwickshire Local Plan is now open and runs until 11.59pm on Tuesday 8 September 2026.

This is the final stage of public consultation before the Plan is submitted to the Government for independent examination by a Planning Inspector. The Local Plan will help shape future housing, employment, infrastructure and growth across South Warwickshire.

At this stage, comments should focus on whether the Plan is:
✅ Legally compliant – prepared in line with planning legislation and regulations
✅ Sound – positively prepared, justified, effective and consistent with national planning policy

All comments received during the consultation period will be considered by the independent Planning Inspector as part of the examination process.
