Please share the following with your friends and family who live or work in Suffolk...
Fire stations in Bedfordshire, Sussex and other parts of the UK have recently been targeted by thieves stealing essential lifesaving equipment. These incidents involve the theft of hydraulic rescue tools that firefighters rely on to free people from life threatening situations.
We are taking every precaution possible, but weβre also asking our communities to stay alert.
If you live or work near a fire station, please help us by keeping an eye out for anything out of place - unfamiliar vehicles, people loitering, or activity at unusual hours.
If something doesnβt look right, please do NOT attempt to intervene - your safety comes first. Instead, please do one of the following:
π¨ Call 999 if a crime is in progress.
π Call 101 with any information that may help police.
Thank you in advance for standing with us.
Together, we can deter thieves and ensure our lifesaving equipment remains ready for those who need it most.
