Great day in Pallion today, always a laugh at veterans in conversation
Another great Quiz, and as always great benefits advice from Dawn from FISCUS
Then to the cookhouse for a lovely home cooked mince dinner from Claire & Rita, I was informed it was lovely ( but not as good as last week 😂) we then had a new gentlemen pop in for his first visit, and he managed to get himself some new clothes ❤️

Well the winner from our Football Card is Michael who picked Everton. Michael has won the Talk Proper book signed by the man himself Kevin Ball. Huge well done Michael and huge thank you to everyone who bought a team. All the money raised will go towards supporting veterans and their families.

🇬🇧 **TRAFALGAR DAY – 21 OCTOBER** ⚓

**HONOUR THE FALLEN. REMEMBER THE BRAVE. STAND WITH OUR VETERANS.**

Today, we remember the Battle of Trafalgar, fought on 21 October 1805, and the extraordinary courage, leadership and sacrifice of Admiral Lord Nelson and the sailors who fought to secure victory for Britain.

Trafalgar Day is a reminder that the values forged in service — **courage, commitment, discipline, loyalty and comradeship** — endure long after the uniform is hung up.

At **Veterans in Crisis**, we know that the fight doesn't always end when someone leaves the Armed Forces. For some veterans, the battles continue long after service, often fought silently and out of sight.

That is why we stand ready to support those who have served, offering understanding, camaraderie and a lifeline when it is needed most.

⚓ **We will remember their sacrifice.**
🇬🇧 **We will honour their service.**
💂 **We will never leave a veteran behind.**

This Trafalgar Day, let us remember those who gave everything, salute those who continue to serve our communities, and stand shoulder to shoulder with every veteran facing their own battle.

Once served. Always a comrade. Always one of our own.
