Community is absolutely at the heart of everything the Green Party does and believes in, and our job as a local Green Party is to do everything we can, wherever we can, to empower and support the people already out there doing their best to make a positive change.
It's easy to feel like we're very divided at the moment, and something like this is a chance to just demonstrate how strong our community can be, and how much positive change can be achieved when we all agree to come out and muck in together.
To be clear, while we absolutely worked our hardest, the Green Party are not responsible for the vast majority of work put into this project. There were volunteers working on this project who we know for a fact would never have seen themselves working next to someone in a Green Party t-shirt before now - but we all showed up with the same goal of making something great for our shared community, and the results of that will speak for themselves. We're just really proud that were able to play our part in this collaborative team effort.
