Following the success of last year’s sponsored around the world flight, we’ve decided to undertake a sponsored static cycle to the site of former RAF Coltishall, to raise money for the Royal Air Force Association and their annual Wings Appeal.
RAF Coltishall was the home of 242 Squadron and noted WWII pilot Douglas Bader who incidentally gives his name to our suite of RAFAC systems.
Wings Appeal supports serving and ex-RAF personnel (and their families). Funds raised are used to provide assistance to those who have served in the RAF, including veterans and their families, ensuring they can lead dignified, fulfilled, and independent lives – it’s a worthwhile cause and one close to many of our hearts.
