Sunderland Aquatic Centre More than just a swimming pool, Sunderland Aquatic Centre offers a huge range of fitness and activity options.

North East England’s premier aquatic facility features a 50m Olympic-standard pool (split into two 25m pools), a 25m diving pool with 1m, 3m, and 5m boards, and a 140-station gym equipped with Life Fitness cardio and strength machines. The Olympic-sized main pool hosts various activities in the water, including lane swimming, inflatable fun and Everyone Active’s award-winning swimming lessons, whi

le the dedicated diving pool offers diving lessons too. The centre also boasts and enormous 140-station gym, as well as a variety of both virtual and instructor-led group fitness classes that cater for all ages and abilities. Furthermore, kids can also work off that extra energy in the fantastic fun soft play area.
