🚨 Sutton Bridge CRT – Evening Callout

Paged at 20:44hrs tonight to assist with a search for a missing person along the River Great Ouse, King’s Lynn.

As the team arrived and were preparing to be tasked alongside colleagues from HM Coastguard Hunstanton and partner agencies, they were stood down after confirmation that the missing person had been safely located inland.

Following a short debrief, the team returned to station — treated on the drive back to a stunning dry‑storm lightning display across the sky.

🚨 Coastguard Callout – Sutton Bridge CRT

Paged: 09:19hrs
Incident: Person cut off by the tide near Outer Trial Bank

This morning our Sutton Bridge Coastguard Rescue Team was paged following reports of a person cut off by the incoming tide near the Outer Trial Bank.

Rescue teams from HM Coastguard and Hunstanton RNLI made their way to the location. Thanks to quick actions from friends within the RNLI, the casualty was assisted promptly and brought safely back ashore to Sutton Bridge Marina.

After a thorough check, we’re pleased to confirm the individual was safe and well.

• The tide comes in around you, not just behind
• Carry a fully charged mobile phone or a VHF radio
• If you get into difficulty, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard
