ACTIFIRE IS 3 TODAY! 🎂🔥

Three years ago, Actifire was just an idea. Fast forward to today and what a journey it's been. The last 12 months in particular have been a bit of a whirlwind!

Moved into our very own office.
Won Mansfield and Ashfield Small Business of the Year
Grown quarter on quarter.

And somewhere amongst all that, we've managed to keep our sanity (just about! 😂).

It's not always been easy, and running a small business certainly comes with its challenges, but we're incredibly proud of how far we've come.

A massive THANK YOU to our customers, suppliers, fellow local businesses, friends and family who continue to support us, recommend us and help us grow.

We're still a small business with big ambitions, and we're excited to see what year four brings!

Here's to another year of hard work, new opportunities and hopefully a little more growth!

This week’s Sunday Shoutout goes to Takeover Radio 106.9 in Sutton.

Did you know we have a local radio station that gives young people in our area the chance to get involved in broadcasting?

A brilliant opportunity for young people to learn new skills, build confidence, get creative and have their voices heard!

From presenting shows and choosing music to learning what goes on behind the scenes, it's a fantastic way to gain experience, make friends and have some fun along the way.

We're big believers in supporting young people and giving them opportunities to try something different, and Takeover Radio is doing just that.

And the best bit? We can all support them simply by tuning in!

It's easy to overlook some of the brilliant things happening right here on our doorstep, so let's get behind these young people and the people who work hard to make opportunities like this possible.

A very well-deserved Sunday Shoutout to Takeover Radio!

Burnt toast shouldn't mean a fire alarm! A heat detector in your kitchen helps prevent false alarms caused by everyday cooking smoke.

WE'RE WALKING ON FIRE… LITERALLY!

Kieran Percival and Sarah Armson from Actifire are taking on a slightly different fire challenge this November....

Swapping fire safety for FIRE WALKING! 👣🔥

And it's all for a fantastic cause, Maggie's Cancer Care Centre in Nottingham, supporting people affected by cancer and their families.

Our fundraising target is £200.

We know times are tough, but imagine if everyone who saw this donated just £1 or £2. We'd smash that target in no time!

Every little donation really does make a difference.

Can you spare a couple of pounds to sponsor us?

This week’s Sunday Shoutout goes to Royston Barksby, the man behind Barksby Training & Consultancy and Save a Life Squad.

We love working with people who are passionate about what they do, and Royston is definitely one of them. In fact, we partner with Royston for our own training requirements, so we're more than happy to recommend him!

Does your business need First Aid or CPR training?

Whether you're a business owner, HR manager, responsible for staff training or run an organisation, having people who know what to do in an emergency is incredibly important.

Barksby Training can help you and your team develop those potentially lifesaving skills, with practical training that builds knowledge and confidence.

But that's not all Royston does…

Have you heard of Save a Life Squad?

This is a fantastic project Royston runs, aimed at teaching children lifesaving skills.

If you're involved with a school, youth club, Scouts, Guides or another children's community group, why not get in touch and see how Save a Life Squad could benefit your young people?

Teaching children these skills from an early age is such a brilliant idea. You never know when that knowledge might make a difference!

We love supporting businesses that give something back to their communities, and Royston is a great example of someone doing just that.

A well-deserved Sunday Shoutout to Royston. Let's help spread the word about the great work he's doing!
