Congratulations to Bryan McKeown - now a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University’s Paramedic Science programme. BSc Paramedic Science with Distinction.

From Responder to soon‑to‑be Paramedic*, Bryan has shown commitment, skill, and a passion for helping others. We’re excited to see him step into his new role here at Midlands Ambulance Group.

Armed Forces Day - 27 June 2026

Today we pause, reflect, and give our deepest thanks to the men and women of our United Kingdom Armed Forces.

To those currently serving: Your courage, commitment, and sacrifice protect our country every single day. You stand ready so others can live safely, and that dedication does not go unnoticed.

To all who have served before: Thank you for your strength, your service, and the legacy you leave behind. Our nation is better because of you.

To the families: Your sacrifices are woven into every deployment, every long night, and every homecoming. Your resilience and support make service possible.

And a special acknowledgement to those who now continue their public service operationally within Midlands Ambulance Group and wider National Health Service, Fire and Rescue and Police Services. Your transition from military duty to frontline healthcare is a powerful reminder that service to others takes many forms. We are proud to work alongside you.

Midlands Ambulance Group is proud to officially launch the UK’s FIRST EVER SUPERSONIC AIR AMBULANCE JET ✈️💨

Yes… you read that right.

Our brand new aircraft can now reach ANY patient in the UK in under 8 minutes thanks to cutting-edge “blue light afterburner technology” 🔥🚑

But that’s not all…

👨‍⚕️ Paramedics can now be deployed mid-air by parachute
🛏️ Fully equipped in-flight operating theatre
🤖 AI-assisted diagnosis before landing
🍕 Emergency pizza delivery capability (strictly for staff morale… obviously)

In extreme traffic conditions, we can even deploy our Rapid Response Jet Bike Units if needed 🛵

This is the future of emergency care.

As we step into the New Year, we want to say thank you to our communities, our clients, and every patient and family we’ve had the honour of supporting over the past year.

Being welcomed into people’s lives during moments of vulnerability is a responsibility we never take lightly. Every call we attend and every patient we care for reminds us why community-focused, compassionate pre-hospital care matters. We are incredibly proud of our crews and partners who work tirelessly to keep people safe and supported when they need it most.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to growing and developing as a service—investing in our staff, strengthening local partnerships, and continuing to improve the care we deliver across the communities we serve.
